Write what each word means, using the article.

Do not copy the article. Write two things you learned, the way you would explain them to a friend.

Answers below are taken from the article’s stored facts, so they match what the student read.

1. What is Solar core known for?Generates 99% of the Sun's fusion power
2. What is the location?Central region of the Sun, extending to approximately 0.2 solar radii
3. What is the temperature at center?15,000,000 K (27,000,000 °F; 15,000,000 °C)
4. What is the Sun's super hot heart? The Sun's super hot heart is called the core. It is the very center of the Sun where temperatures are extremely high and nuclear fusion happens.
5. How hot is the Sun's core? The core's temperature is about 15 million Kelvin, which is 15 million degrees Celsius.

Solar Core: The innermost region of the Sun, characterized by extreme temperature, pressure, and density, where nuclear fusion occurs.
Plasma: A state of matter consisting of ionized gas, where electrons are detached from atoms, prevalent in stellar cores.
Nuclear Fusion: The process by which atomic nuclei combine to form heavier nuclei, releasing substantial amounts of energy, as described by E=mc².
Proton-Proton Chain Reaction: The primary sequence of nuclear reactions by which hydrogen is fused into helium in stars like the Sun.
